Eminem headined at the V Festival in Weston Park, Staffordshire, UK on Saturday night (Aug. 20). Rihanna joined him on stage to perform a duet of Love the Way You Lie.
Eminem’s set also included the songs ‘The Way I Am’, ‘Without Me’, ‘No Love’ and the D-12-featuring song ‘Purple Pills’.
Rihanna sang her hits “S&M,” “Cheers (Drink to That),” “California King Bed” and “Man Down,” along with others.
Before the show the 23-year-old singing sensation gave a shout out to her fans, “#VFESTDay1 I LOVE YOU!!! 80′000 screaming rockstars!!! I can’t wait to see Eminem!!!!” she tweeted.
Both Eminem and Rihanna now head to V Festival at Chelmsford’s Hydlands Park tonight (August 21).

Rihanna is my girl because she has an amazing voice and exudes this crazy strong feminine aura. Killer confidence, that's what she's got. And that confidence is the same reason she can wear things like this feathery getup out in public.
Unfortunately, just because she can put on this ensemble and not feel like an aquamarine cousin of Big Bird doesn't mean she doesn't look like like one.
The singer peacocked her way into London's House of Fraser for the launch of her new perfume, Reb'l Fleur. And while I love her gold accessories and nude Louboutin pumps, I can't help but wonder if this outlandish outfit is a scary preview of more to come.
But I digress.
Recently, Rihanna's been rocking some crazy costumes. Let me rephrase that. It's more about what she hasn't been wearing. On tour, she was recently photographed by the masses wearing a scandalous neon high-waisted bikini bottom and top. And then, just last week, the paparazzi caught her in at home in Barbados wearing next to nothing (and even, once, a headdress!) on more than one occasion. She's expressing herself. I appreciate that. But there's a difference between self-expression and just absolute ridiculousness. I hope this weird phase comes full circle.
Even the most beautiful people can look horrible in the wrong clothes. Take this morning's cerulean outfit, for example. Her hair-styling is gorgeous and screams old Hollywood glamour. But I can hardly appreciate her beautiful features with that furry frock overpowering her. I can't possibly fathom how a woman with her good taste could think it looks pretty.
What I will say, though, is I bet she's super comfortable. It's sort of like going out wearing your (very expensive) bedspread.

Fans give mixed reactions to Rihanna's V Festival performance

Rihanna played an action-packed set on the first night of V Festival at Weston Park on Saturday (Aug 20).

The pop star, wearing a midriff-baring Union Jack shirt, fishnet leggings, short jean shorts and a leather jacket, arrived on stage while dancing against a pole as she began singing 'Only Girl (In The World)'. Later on in her set, she sat straddled on top of a pink smoke-blowing cannon while her backup dancers carried pink rifle guns.

Rihanna also showed off her instrumental skills, playing drums at the end of 'Breakin' Dishes'.

Many fans, like Sam Bathgate, 17, thought the performance was "amazing. Everything she did was dead good. The way she was dressed looked gorgeous - it was absolutely fab. She pulled it all off really well, and she had me singing along to every single song she did."

However, for some festival-goers, the show lacked audience interaction. "It was a really good performance, performance-wise," Frances Clark, 23 told NME. "But she didn't speak to the audience very much, which I think is important to make you feel part of it. I just wanted a bit more of that, really."

Rihanna later joined Eminem onstage during his headline slot to perform 'Love The Way You Lie'.

Rihanna Inks Deal To Promote Barbados

Rihanna kicked off the relationship with the BTA during her trip to Barbados last week, where she gave a performance to over 25,000 fans during a concert at the Kensington Oval, which was produced by Jay-Z's Roc Nation.

"I travel everywhere in the world and nothing feels like this place... never," Rihanna said during the concert. "And it all started like really two streets over from this oval where I grew up, where I was raised, right there in Westbury -- singing in the shower, annoying my neighbors. Now I'm back home with a full-on concert for my country. Thanks to you, Barbados!"

As a cultural ambassador for Barbados, Rihanna will be responsible for promoting the destination and advertising campaigns, promotional appearances and on social networks.

Although Rihanna broke up with Dodgers player Matt Kemp in December the two are still friends. Kemp told Us Weekly “She’s a good friend of mine. We’re good.”

Rihanna and Kemp broke up because she was reportedly too busy for him, a source said “he just can’t keep up with her crazy travel schedule.” That's code for "he wasn't famous enough."

So there was no dramatic break-up then? “No, not at all,” says Kemp, “We’ve all got busy lives and we’re working on our careers and concentrating on our careers. Like I said, I wish her all the best of luck and she wishes me all the best of luck.”

I just don’t think Rihanna was cut out to be a ball player’s girlfriend. When you date an athlete you kind of have to take a backseat in the relationship and I’m pretty sure Rihanna was not about that. That’s why she dates other artists who are popular but not more popular than her (i.e. Chris Brown, Drake).

So for all you jersey chasers out there, this is what Kemp looks for in a woman. “Nice shoes, great teeth, good smile, good skin.” So basically, just splurge on a better pair of heels, some Crest white strips and some Neutrogena and you’re good to go.

After months of speculation, it turns out Rihanna and Drake really have been dating on the down low. You couldn’t fool us for long.

They were caught kissing at the Buonanotte supper club in Montreal, Canada last month, and have been spending a lot of time together since. But don’t hold your breath waiting for a wedding just yet---apparently it’s a super casual fling at this point.

Rihanna Insists She's Still Single

Rihanna may have gone on a romantic vacation with her rumored man Matt Kemp, but she insists she's still single.

Rihanna spoke to 104.3 MY FM's Valentine in the Morning show in Los Angeles where she talked about not having a date to the Grammys and how she's currently single.

Rihanna's Boyfriend Responds to Violence Rumors

Yesterday, an disturbing story surfaced claiming Rihanna’s new man Matt Kemp had a history of violence with an ex-girlfriend. The woman even came forward with a restraining order she claimed she was forced to get while the two were living together.

Kemp’s people have since responded to the report. The say in a statement:

"Matt dated Felisha about two years ago and decided to end their relationship. She chose to file a complaint and shortly thereafter, on her own accord, decided to drop it…. She has very recently said that she has no issue whatsoever with Matt and that she and Matt consider this to be a non-issue. Matt Kemp is a consummate Midwestern gentleman who has never displayed any act of violence towards a woman."

Felisha’s people in turn released a statement of their own, saying:

“Felisha Terrell and Matt Kemp lived together and were in a relationship for over a year where they both cared for one another. During the course of the relationship there was a restraining order filed by Felisha but it had nothing to do with domestic violence and to be clear Matt was never physically abusive to Felisha, nor did she fear for her life. The restraining order was subsequently vacated. They both have moved on separately but remain amicable.”

Rihanna's New Guy has History of Abuse

Rihanna seems very happy since meeting LA Dodger star Matt Kemp. The two were photographed on vacation in Cabo San Lucas together earlier this month getting very close. But is this new guy good for Rihanna, who is just coming off an abusive relationship? Maybe not.

According to Star magazine, Kemp has a history of violence against women. His ex-girlfriend whom he lived with Felisha Terrell had problems with the baseball star a couple years back. She even filed a restraining order against Kemp, saying he was threatening, intimidating and stalking" her. She also said at the time, "He is violent and I am afraid."

Rihanna’s friends are nervous about her new relationship and don’t want history repeating itself. One of them says, " "You'd think after what she went through with Chris, RiRi would be extra careful about learning the background of any man she gets close to. It's almost as if she has a dark side of her own... an attraction to bad boys."

According to Terrell’s restraining order, Kemp was also suspended for 2 days from work for getting into a fight. Terrell also mentions a time her ex was kicked out of a club for fighting with a woman. She goes on to say, “And now I am afraid his behavior will turn towards me since we are no longer dating and he has mentioned several times that I have no idea what stress he’s under, and what he has to deal with.”

Sounds shady! This is something Rihanna has to keep in mind! We’re sure she’s being careful about the people she surrounds herself with, but we can’t imagine if she had to go through any abuse again in her life.

Rihanna Ignored All the Warning Signs With Chris Brown

Rihanna may be happy and in love again, but looking back on her relationship with Chris Brown, she now realizes she ignored a lot of the warning signs.

Rihanna was left battered and bruised after an altercation with Brown back in February following Clive Davis' pre Grammy party. And looking back, she thinks that night could have been prevented.

She tells W magazine: “There were control issues, insecurity. When people are insecure they become very controlling and they can get very aggressive and in turn abusive. It doesn’t have to be physical.

“Like they would say bad stuff to you to make you feel lesser than them just so they would have control in the relationship. It takes a big toll on your emotions and on your everyday life. It changes you.”

Rihanna also revealed she was emotionally drained when she recorded latest album ‘Rated R’ because the break-up and the media attention surrounding their relationship has become too intense to deal with.

She said, “When I was making this album, every day I was in a different mood. Sometimes I was p***ed off, sometimes I was miserable, and every song brings out a different story.

“It’s still hard to listen to certain songs. Certain ones I couldn’t even record - I’d keep pushing them back. When the label finally said we had 12 hours to turn in the album, I was like, Okay, I have to record the last song. I just drank some red wine, dimmed the lights, got in the booth and sang it.'

Luckily Rihanna has since moved on from Chris Brown and is now dating Los Angeles Dodgers' star Matt Kemp. Chris on the other hand was found guilty of the assault and ordered to carry out 80 hours of community labor, 12 months of domestic violence counseling and five years probation.

Rihanna Helping Fan With Leukemia Find Donor

Rihanna's heart is as big as an ocean. The pop star is taking time out of her busy schedule to help 26-year-old Seun Adebiyi, a Nigerian athlete who had hoped to compete in the 2014 Winter Games in skeleton sledding, but was diagnosed with Leukemia during training, a bone marrow donor.

Rihanna got a heartbreaking letter from Seun and promised him she would do anything in her power to help him out.

Rihanna said: "Leukemia interrupted Seun's dream of being the first Nigerian in the Winter Olympics, but together we can help him make his dream come true. We need to find him a bone marrow donor! Please sign up with DKMS!"

And she's not alone in her search. Grey's Anatomy actor Justin Chambers is also asking potential bone marrow donors to come forward and help save the life of the Yale Law School graduate.

Seun is astonished both Rihanna and Justin have taken the time to help him. He said: "I am deeply touched by their plea for donors, not just for me, but for others as well.

"Their voices are so powerful and it encourages me how they used their influence to raise awareness about this important issue. That was incredible."

This isn't the first time Rihanna has used her star power for a good cause. Back in 2008 she made public pleas to help six-year-old Jasmina Anema and 43-year-old Lisa Flynn find bone marrow transplants. What an inspiration!

Rihanna and Chris Brown's Videos Debuting on Same Day

Rihanna just can’t seem to fully separate herself from Chris Brown, no matter how hard she tries. Both singers are set to release music videos on the exact same day.

Rihanna will release her video for “Russian Roulette” from her upcoming album Rated R this Friday on 20/20. And now MTV reports that Chris’ video for “Crawl” will premiere Friday as well.

Chris’ video will air during the Wendy Williams show, with singer Cassie appearing on the track as well. Rihanna was originally supposed to premiere “Russian Roulette” last Friday when she spoke with Diane Sawyer for the first time about her attack. But the video ended up not being done with editing by the time of the taping.

Chris definitely has a solid group of fans sticking by his side, however. Just yesterday, the New York Post put up a video that showed Chris at a Foot Locker in NYC posing with dozens of fans.

One woman, however, didn’t appreciate Chris getting all of that attention, yelling to him, “F**king beater! You belong in jail. I hope someone beats the f**king crap out of you!"

New York Jets' Braylon Edwards was hoping to impress Rihanna when he saw her at an LA nightclub by sending her a very expensive bottle of champagne, but he was left behind disappointed when she sent it back.

The famous football player sent Rihanna a $10,000 bottle while they were both partying at The Bank at Wonderland nightclub in LA, but the songstress quickly sent it back because he was a stranger.

One partygoer said: "She didn't know who they were, so she sent it back."

Edwards didn't let the incident stop him from pursuing her though. After she sent the bottle back, he went over and introduced himself and they chatted for a little bit.

But don't jump to any conclusions, it was just a friendly chat according to onlookers.

After Chris Brown assaulted and publicly humiliated Rihanna, she stayed mum for nine months. She didn't give a single interview, didn't bad mouth him and refused to address the issue. And that's just the way Chris liked it. But now that Rihanna has come forward and given the world details about the night she was assaulted, he's upset with her because he believes it should have been a "private matter."

"While I respect Rihanna's right to discuss the specific events of February 8," Brown says in a statement to MTV News, "I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us."

We're sure Rihanna would have loved to have kept the photo of her bruised and bloody face private too, but when you're a celebrity, nothing stays private for too long.

During Rihanna's interview with Diane Sawyer, she said Chris put her in a headlock twice and bit her on the ear and fingers. "He had no soul in his eyes," Rihanna said. "He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him."

In his statement today, Brown continued, "I do appreciate [Rihanna's] support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions," he tells MTV.

"At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God."

After all that Rihanna's gone through, Chris really can't be upset with her for telling her side of the story. She spoke out about being abused hoping her message will help save other women who are also in an abusive relationship.

Rihanna has finally spoken out about the night Chris Brown attacked her, saying it could have happened to anyone.

The 'Umbrella' singer - who was left battered and bruised after her ex-boyfriend assaulted her in February at a pre-Grammys party - knows she isn't the only person to be the victim of domestic abuse.

She said: "This happened to me. It can happen to anyone."

However, the 21-year-old beauty admitted it was hard to come to terms with because of the feelings she had for the 'Run It' singer.

She says in an episode of US TV show 'Good Morning America' due to air on Thursday (05.11.09): "He was definitely my first big love."

Chris recently gave an interview about the assault and spoke of his regret about attacking Rihanna and told how he is trying his best to make amends.

According to court records and other sources, Rihanna struck Brown in the face “numerous times” before Brown assaulted her (’http://news.ninemsn.com.au/entertainment/768865/rihanna-hit-chris-brow…’). NCFM purports although that would not justify his more severe assault, her violence should not be ignored, and if she does not “woman up” to it then her message will be the usual one-sided double standards that leave female perpetration covered up.

The saying, “There is no excuse for domestic violence,” applies to both sexes. Female violence in relationships is not rare but is often hypocritically deemed acceptable or humorous, such as in the film, Sideways. It is part of the cycle of domestic violence, which cannot be stopped without addressing the problem honestly. Children are damaged just by witnessing domestic violence, regardless of its severity.

A 32-nation study by the University of New Hampshire found women are as violent and as controlling as men in relationships worldwide (’http://www.unh.edu/news/cj_nr/2006/may/em_060519male.cfm?type=n’,

A major study funded by the Centers for Disease Control found one-fourth of heterosexual relationships had violence and: “half (49.7%) of those were reciprocally violent. This data is more reliable than criminal justice data because men are less likely to report the violence or to respond positively to crime surveys because society still does not consider female violence as much of a crime.

Rihanna said she felt disappointed and taken advantage of, especially when she heard that the two officers under investigation for leaking her photo were women.

"I felt like people were making it into a fun topic on the Internet, and it's my life," she said.

Singer Rihanna is breaking her silence this week in an interview on ABC. She will appear on "20/20" to do a one-on-one interview. This is the first time she's spoken out publicly since February.

Those familiar with Rihanna Fenty and her past relationship with singer Chris Brown knows of the claims of previous abuse and the Feb. 20 incident in which Brown plead guilty to attacking her. Those not familiar with the incident can read my previous article here about Rihanna and Chris Brown that recaps the situation when it was reportedly thought that Rihanna and Chris Brown were getting back together.

Rihanna will do a one-on-one interview on ABC's show "20/20" at 10 p.m. this Friday evening, November 6. Prior to that Rihanna will appear on "Good Morning America" at 7 a.m. Thursday, November 5.

Rihanna is expected to promote her new album, "Rated R," which includes the single "Russian Roulette." She had to speak out at some point in order to get album sales. The album "Rated R" will be released in stores on November 23.

Hopefully Rihanna's story of survival will help other young ladies that have gone through relationship abuse. I'm sure plenty of people will tune into the interview to hear what Rihanna has to say about Chris Brown, their relationship and if she's started to recover from what she's been through.

The R&B singer Rihanna will be the headline act for a New Year’s Eve concert in Abu Dhabi, it was confirmed yesterday.

Her possible appearance had prompted speculation for some time. The news will please thousands of fans who were left disappointed after the singer, 21, pulled out of a planned concert in Dubai on May 28, citing personal reasons.

On the same day as the cancelled concert, Rihanna’s boyfriend, Chris Brown, a fellow R&B singer, was scheduled to appear in court charged with threatening and assaulting the star following an altercation in Los Angeles in February.

Brown later made a public apology for his behaviour.

The New Year’s Eve concert will be Rihanna’s first major performance since then. She has kept a low profile following the court case.

Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, has had a string of hits, including SOS, which was number one in the US, the more recent Umbrella, and the worldwide hit Don’t Stop the Music.

She was born in Barbados and moved the the US at age 16 to pursue a musical career. She has sold more than two million albums during her four-year career.

In 2005, her debut album Music of the Sun reached the top 10 on the Billboard charts.

Last year, the Latin pop diva Shakira performed at a lavish New Year’s Eve party at the Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Details about this year’s concert and the location are expected to be released soon.

Russian Roulette is usually played out in movies during gangster shakedowns, and it’s a common form of suicide for real-life soldiers and police officers. The game entails loading a single bullet into a six-round gun and pulling the trigger to decide whether you live or die.
Singer and actor Ne-Yo decided to make the deadly game into an art form by writing the song “Russian Roulette”, and the Grammy Award winning songwriter immediately imagined mysterious, sexy singer Rihanna sitting across a table from someone with a gun between them.
Well, it’s not too hard to imagine Rihanna across the table in a civil dispute because she acted out a similar scene in a music video with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine in the remix of the band’s hit song, “If I Never See Your Face Again”.

Not long before, Rihanna recorded a video with Ne-Yo for their hit duet, “Hate That I Love You”, that Ne-Yo penned. Ne-Yo also wrote Rihanna’s hit song, “Take a Bow”.

So Rihanna didn’t hesitate when Ne-Yo asked her to sing “Russian Roulette”, and the song is the first release from her fourth album Rated R, due out Nov. 23.

Some are played every day, others just a few times a year. There are songs that remind me of relationships I've royally screwed up (Hoobastank's "The Reason") and a few on my iPhone that were clearly DWIs -- downloaded while intoxicated (think Huey Lewis and the News, circa 1985).

But despite the wide range of emotions triggered by my 3,626 songs, I typically don't have a problem listening to any of them at any given time.

Except for four: "Run It," "Forever," "With You" and "Kiss Kiss." Haven't played them since last winter.

For those of you a little slow on the pop culture uptake, these are all songs by Chris Brown, the R&B singer who back in February assaulted his then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna, was sentenced to 180 days of community service, and now, eight months later, wants us to download his new music. And forgive him.

"Honestly, I would just like to get past it," Brown recently told Rolling Stone. "At the end of the day, I'm sorry for what I did, whatever it is."

This week, Brown headlines his first concert since the assault, the next step in revitalizing his image. As a one-time fan, there's a part of me that would like to get back to playing his music and get back to the party. But the last three words of that sentence just won't let me do it.

"Whatever it is" doesn't sound like the words of a man who has done some serious soul searching. Rather, "whatever it is" sounds like the words of a man trained by his lawyers or marketing team to offer up a public admission of wrongdoing while avoiding linking his name to unpleasant phrases such as "domestic violence" and "physical assault." It's the same avoidance we saw during his interview with CNN's Larry King.

The reason why I am having a tough time moving on -- and thus playing Brown's music again -- is because he doesn't appear willing to say exactly what we're supposed to be moving on from. He's trying to speak up while remaining silent, which makes me wonder if he's sorry for what he did, or sorry he got caught.

I'm not saying Brown is a terrible person. I'm not saying he doesn't still love Rihanna. And I'm certainly am not trying to dictate when someone should be forgiven.

But I am having a hard time hearing his voice over a dance beat right now. And I am having difficulties singing along to lyrics such as "I won't let you fall girl" knowing that's not all together true.

We're all human, capable of making some terrible mistakes. I certainly have done some things I am not proud of and likely will do more things that fall short of being admirable.

But when the nation's domestic violence 24-hour hot lines are receiving 14 calls a minute, "whatever it is" just rubs me the wrong way.

Any PR guru will tell you it's nice to have the public forgive your sins, but it's even better to have them forget. Forgetting starts with redirecting the conversation and distancing yourself from the controversy, and it appears that is exactly what Brown is trying to do.

He doesn't want to be thought of as a perpetrator. He doesn't want to be linked to criminal behavior. He just wants to move on. I do, too. But reality won't let me.

Multiple studies show that nearly 2 million women are victims of domestic violence annually, and with the added tension fueled by a hurting economy, some crisis centers are seeing an increase of cases. I can remember women in my neighborhood, and even in my own family, trying to cover up bruises they believed they deserved for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.

"He's a good man," is what they would say to each other, as if it was encouragement. And we all know this isn't just an issue that affects the everyday family.

It was just a year ago this week the mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew of Jennifer Hudson were killed, allegedly by her sister's estranged husband. Prosecutors believe he shot them in a jealous rage because Hudson's sister was dating someone else.

Also a year ago this month, Soul Train creator Don Cornelius was arrested on charges of domestic violence. This fall, actor Tom Sizemore was arrested on charges of domestic violence -- again. It's an ongoing problem, and yet culturally it doesn't feel that way. Culturally it feels as if we treat it like a private matter, an aspect of the couple's relationship that should be determined by the two of them.

Culturally, it doesn't even feel like it's a crime, with generations being spoon fed images of Ricky Ricardo spanking Lucy or hearing Ralph Kramden threaten to knock Alice to the moon. When the incident first occurred, some fans assumed Rihanna did something and thus deserved the assault, underscoring the sentiment that it's less of a crime and more of a fight between lovers.

To his credit, Brown is donating a portion of the proceeds from the fan appreciation tour he is doing next month to a Los Angeles, California, based nonprofit that helps victims of domestic violence. A nice gesture that, unfortunately, is somewhat undermined by the bravado spewing from his latest single, "I'll Transform Ya," which brags about him being a great catch.

Talk about disconnects.

I guess this is why there are 3,626 songs in my music library and not 3,622. I haven't deleted the four songs by Brown from my music library because there's a part of me that understands this dialogue is way bigger than the incident that surrounds a 20-year-old kid.

Hopefully Brown really is a changed person, who, over time, will continue to use his fame to bring public awareness to the dangers of domestic violence. There's a part of me that wants to play his music again, rejoin the party, and yeah, move on.

Just not yet.

Right now I still have the images of a battered Rihanna in my head, so you'll have to forgive me if I don't feel like dancing to the songs of the person who did it.

"Whatever it is" he did.

Record producer Chris “Tricky” Stewart recently discussed one of the songs he worked on with Rihanna which he describes as a guaranteed smash. He can’t release the name of the single at the moment, but seems confident regarding its chart topping potential. According to him, the singer has grown a lot since her last album, and plenty of noticeable changes have been made to her sound.

“This is Rihanna coming into her own and going from being a girl that has been singing big, huge hit records, and the artist is awake and alive and moving on this project,” Stewart said. “She knows exactly what she wants to say, she knows how she wants to feel.”

Rihanna’s album will be aptly titled, The Wait is Ova, and is scheduled for release on November 23rd. There have been rumors that it will be a double disc, but nothing’s been confirmed. All week we've been talking about the much anticipated Rihanna interview, which aired on Good Morning America today. It was Rihanna's first television interview since the incident that took place in February that changed her life forever.

During the interview Rihanna admitted she was "wrong" for going back to Chris Brown shortly after the assault.

"That's embarrassing that that's the type of person that I fell in love with," Rihanna told Diane Sawyer. "So far in love. So unconditional that I went back. It's humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It's a traumatizing experience."

"I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong," she added. "But again ... I'm a human being and people put me on a very unrealistic pedestal. And all these expectations, I'm not perfect."

Rihanna said that she felt so selfish going back to Chris because she didn't realize what a big influence she might be to other young battered women.

"It's completely normal to go back. It's not right. I learned the hard way, but again, this is what I want people to know," she said. "When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result in some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part. I couldn't be held responsible for going back.

"Even if Chris never hit me again, who is to say that their boyfriend won't? Who's to say that they won't kill these girls?" she went on. "These are young girls and I just didn't realize how much of an impact I had on these girls' lives until that happened."

Rihanna admits that life has not been so easy after leaving Chris. She says that it has been one of the "most lonely times" because "nobody understands what it's like."

Rihanna's first television interview aired on Good Morning America on Thursday and Chris Brown's MTV interview will air on Friday. During the interview, Chris will once again address the incident that changed both their lives back in February.

"My thoughts [when I look back on it now] is like, 'Why did it happen?' Like, 'What was I thinking? What is wrong with you?' That's what I'm thinking with myself. That's what my thoughts are, basically, now," Chris says during the interview.

The incident that took place led to Brown being sentenced to 5 years probation and hundreds of hours of community service. Chris however, admits that he is ready to move forward with his life.

"It's like, 'How do we get past it? How do you, Chris' – talking to myself – 'how do you go from point A to point B? How do you learn from your mistakes, turn it into a positive and help other people with the situation, and at the end of the day become the person that you want to be?' "

During the interview Sway Calloway asks Brown what triggered the assault to which he replied, "Just anger … Yeah, anger … Young people, we do before we think."

Chris is currently in group therapy to help him manage his anger.

"Like, I think with my fans, they still love me, they support me, definitely. You have those people who will support you. So it's kinda like 50/50 for me. I got the people that will come out and support and then the people that don't wanna see me do anything. They basically want me in jail."

Her pal added: "She's rushed off to Hawaii to escape the scrutiny.

"She's recording her new album and wants to shut herself in the studio away from the world for a few days."

The Good Girl Gone Bad singer posed for raunchy shots in the January issue of Germany's FHM mag, but preserved her modesty with a strategically placed umbrella.

She has insisted in the past that she would never want to be pictured naked, saying: "My mother would kill me if I posed nude."

Rihanna's record label Island Def Jam demanded that the photos be removed because they "violate the artist's rights". But her lawyers have not denied that the photos are genuine.

Chris Brown's Lawyer Requests LAPD Records

Chris Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos is trying to get Brown’s case dismissed by requesting records of the police department’s internal investigation to find out how exactly the photo of a battered Rihanna leaked online.

Geragos is alleging that LAPD is to blame, and leaked the photo, which appeared on TMZ. Geragos tells E! News, "The leaks can form the basis for a motion to dismiss the case in regards to outrageous governmental misconduct.”

According to court papers obtained by Radar, Geragos said, "I'm informed and believe that on or about Feb. 19, 2009, a photograph taken by the LAPD depicting physical injuries on Ms. Fenty's person was illegally leaked to the media.

"Specifically, I am informed and believe that this highly prejudicial photograph was sold by an LAPD officer to the entertainment website, TMZ.

"The photograph was immediately viewed by hundreds of thousands of viewers and was displayed on every news channel for several weeks...The purpose of the leak was necessarily for profit and to vilify Mr. Brown and poison the potential jury pool."

In short, Chris' lawyer wants the entire case dismissed because the leak constitutes “demonstratable bias on the part of the involved officers."

Next up for Chris is a preliminary hearing on May 28th. Can you imagine if he got off on a technicality like that?!

Rihanna's Dad: Chris is Old News

Despite several media outlets reporting that Rihanna and her ex Chris Brown have secretly reconciled (and are even living together?!), Rihanna's father insists she's not only over him, he's already "old news."

Speaking to Us Weekly about his daughter's recent vacation in her native Barbados, Ronald Fenty said: "Chris sounds like old news to me... [Rihanna is a] different person, back to herself. It’s like Chris never existed. She seems reborn."

Sources close to Chris' camp tell Hollyscoop that Rihanna wants nothing to do with Chris, and is going to great lengths not to be at the same place at the same time to avoid media speculation of a reunion.

Rihanna to Get Bling Back

The Chris Brown case seems to be dragging along, with both parties taking their time on coming to an agreement for a plea deal. But after today’s hearing, at least one matter was solved.

The $1 million in jewelry Rihanna had been wearing the night of the incident will now be returned. Rihanna had borrowed the jewelry on the night of her alleged attack to wear to Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party.

And since the incident in February, the LAPD has been holding on to them for evidence sake. Today, however, it was decided that the LAPD would photograph the earrings and three rings, and return the pieces to the jewelers who lent them to her.

As for the case, a preliminary hearing has been set for May 28th. Rihanna will not have to testify that day. If she is called at all, it will be at a later date.

In related news, Chris Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos had some harsh words for the LAPD today over the online leak of Rihanna’s photo, taken shortly after the assault.

He spoke out after the hearing to reporters, saying, “The leaks confirm the basis for a motion to dismiss the case in regards to outrageous governmental conduct.”

Rihanna Asks Cops to Return $1 Million in Jewelry

Rihanna and her lawyer Donald Etra are asking police to return over $1 million dollars worth of jewelry they're still holding onto for "evidence."

The night Rihanna was allegedly attacked by her ex boyfriend Chris Brown, she was wearing $1.4 million dollars worth of jewels. And the borrowed diamonds have yet to be returned.

"Since there appears to be no evidentiary value to the continued holding of this jewelry ... we respectfully [ask] the court to order the return of this property to [Rihanna] without further delay," her lawyer Donald Etra wrote in a court request filed earlier this week.

The borrowed jewelry included two yellow metal hoop earrings with white stones; one yellow metal ring with white stones and green stones; and two yellow metal rings with white stones.

The Gucci printed dress she also wore on the night of Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party is also being held for evidence. Only problem is, that was also borrowed for the night.

Rihanna's attorney stated in the documents that Rihanna is going to be held liable for the diamonds and the dress by the designers, unless she returns them ASAP.

So far the LAPD has refused to comment on the situation, and the DA hasn't responded to Donald's request, but we'll keep you guys updated as soon as we hear more!

Rihanna Unwilling To Cooperate In Chris Brown Case

Rihanna is said to be acting uncooperative when it comes to talking to the Los Angeles District Attorney regarding the case against Chris Brown.

Sources tell Fox News Rihanna just "wants the whole thing" to go away and isn’t helping the DA prepare his case against Brown for allegedly beating her the day before the Grammy Awards.

Sources also say Rihanna is still angry that the picture of her beaten and bruised leaked to the press, and that she’s being called Chris’ “victim.”

This is a little surprising that she would still be so uncooperative because she and Chris are reportedly “on a break.” The only reason she would have to not testify against him is if she wanted to get back together with him.

Apparently the DA already has a good case against Chris, but they wanted that extra edge of having Rihanna on their side, playing the victim role. Guess Rihanna’s not cool with that!

We can’t fault her for wanted this whole mess to go away, but she almost has an obligation to talk about it. We’re not saying she should be forced to testify, but at least shed some light to the DA!

Chris’ hearing is scheduled for one week from today on April 6th. Hopefully we’ll get some answers on what really happened. Do you think Rihanna should testify against Brown?

Rihanna and Chris to Reunite on Oprah?

It’s still unsure whether Rihanna and Chris Brown have reconciled, since we haven’t seen the two hanging out since reuniting at Diddy’s Miami mansion last month.

But a reconciliation may be in the works because rumor has it Oprah is trying to get both of them on her show at the same time. Talk about awkward!

Sources tell Look magazine that Oprah has secretly been talking to Rihanna. She also reportedly told her not to get back together with him. But Rihanna apparently wants Chris by her side if she appears on Oprah. She allegedly wants a public apology as well during the show.

Sources tell the publication, "Rihanna has been talking to Oprah Winfrey on a regular basis since late February, when Oprah begged her not to take Chris back.

"She's been having second thoughts about them being back together. Agreeing to go on Oprah's show and tell the world how sorry he is will help make up her mind."

Reps for Oprah deny any such show is in the works. But as crazy and awkward as it would be, we could see it happening! Even if Rihanna were take him back though, it seems the public is definitely over him.

Rihanna Back in Barbados

Rihanna is really enjoying her time off and her time away from the real world. In just the last week, the sexy singer has been spotted in Hawaii, New York and her native Barbados.

Rihanna was photographed arriving in Barbados on Friday afternoon looking super chic. She was sporting her new funky hair style matched with vibrant red lips.

One person who is really excited to see Rihanna is her father Ronald Fenty. He spoke to Us Weekly and expressed his excitement about Rihanna being back in town and back to normal.

"Yeah [she’s back]," her father said. "She just got in a couple hours ago. I will see her tomorrow."

"... I'm happy to have her home. Things are good with her," Fenty added. "She is doing really, really well. She's back to herself again."

Rihanna is in Barbados to help her grandparents celebrated their 50-year wedding anniversary.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown has been spotted in his home town of Virginia hanging with friends and family. Chris is due in court on Monday. No word whether Rihanna will show up. The two are currently on a break and are trying to keep a distance from one another.

Chris Brown Heads to Court, May Plead Not Guilty

The day of Chris Brown’s arraignment is finally here. Almost two months has passed since the night he allegedly beat Rihanna, and we’ll finally see the next chapter in this fiasco unfold.

Brown and his attorney Mark Geragos appeared at the scheduled arraignment last month, where Geragos was able to postpone the case by a month, which brings us to today.

Sources say that Chris will enter a not guilty plea on two felony counts today: assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury, and making criminal threats.

We’re not sure how he will be able to get himself out of this mess, but it sounds like he and Geragos are pretty confident. Other sources tell the NY Daily News that Brown could also try and have the arraignment postponed again.

He wants to avoid any jail time and doesn't want to plead guilty to the felony criminal threats charge since it would be a strike on his record under California's Three Strikes law.

The hearing was initially scheduled for this morning, but has since been changed to this afternoon. Rihanna is not expected to attend. Last we saw of her, she was still in Barbados. Sources tell the NY Daily News, "She has no interest in testifying.”

Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty in Rihanna Case

Wearing all black, Chris Brown arrived to court today at 3:25p.m. for his arraignment. His mother who was seen smiling in court along with his bodyguards and his lawyer Mark Geragos accompanied him.

Hollyscoop was inside the courtroom when Chris entered his "not guilty" plea. His mood was very somber and he could barely be heard when he spoke to the Judge.

Brown pleaded not guilty on both counts including criminal threats and assault after he was charged with allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

After the arraignment Rihanna's attorney, Donald Etra held a press conference outside the courthouse stating that Rihanna was not present in court because the law did not require her to be in court. But he did mention that she would cooperate with the court if she is ordered to and she would be pleased "if it [the case] were over quickly." He also stated that what happened in court was fully expected.

Hollyscoop spoke to Etra after the press conference where he told us that Rihanna is still in Barbados spending time with her family.

When asked if Rihanna and Chris Brown are still in contact, he told Hollyscoop: "I don't comment on my clients personal life."

Chris is due back in court on April 29, 2009.

Rihanna's Dad Says Chris Is in Denial

Just one day after Chris Brown has entered a not guilty plea in response to being charged with allegedly assaulting Rihanna, her father has spoken back out about the situation.

Ronald Fenty finds Chris’ plea ridiculous, and tells Us Weekly that he “needs to stop being in denial.”

He says, "So what happened? Somebody else did this to Rihanna then? I just would like to see justice go in the right direction."

Fenty definitely has a lot to say on this issue. He went on to say Chris should be treated like anyone else who commits a crime. He said, "I don't want his career to be damaged -- it’s damaged already.

"I think he’s a talented guy, but everybody should have to pay. When you do the crime, you do the time. I don't want to see him locked up for a long time -- I just want him to acknowledge and get some help."

But Ronald knows this case is far from over. And he says that if Chris continues to insist he’s not guilty, then he wants to know who is.

He added: "Now he’s going to go beyond that and it could go longer, it can be even worse. It can be worse for him in the long run."

We think the only way to get this resolved is if Rihanna eventually takes the stand. She’s made it pretty clear she doesn’t want involvement, but to just stand around and let Chris get away with this makes her look bad too.

Chris Brown Fans Still Support Him After Alleged Assault

Believe it or not, R&B star Chris Brown still has the support of his fans.

Although Brown has tarnished his reputation for allegedly assaulting his ex girlfriend Rihanna, many came out to the Los Angeles courthouse yesterday to show their support for the R&B star.

One fan told Hollyscoop, “I'm still supporting him. I like Chris brown, I like his music, I think he’s a normal person.”

When we asked fans what they thought about his alleged altercation one fan said, “I think everybody has problems in a relationship.”

Another fan chimed in, “Whatever happened between them, nobody actually knows the truth--the real story behind the altercation of what happened, how it was started. I'm a Rihanna fan too, and she’s back with him so…”

The fact that Rihanna reunited with Chris after the alleged attack makes fans feel like what happened was normal, which is pretty frightening. There's nothing "normal" about assaulting someone!

One fan said, “I think that what he did was a normal situation in a relationship. I know that he hit her, but I think they 're going to get through it especially since they are still together. “

When we asked a loyal Chris Brown fan if it was ok that he allegedly hit her, she said, “No, I don’t think its ok that the hit her, I think she played a part in it and they shouldn’t just be putting the blame on Chris Brown. They should look at what Rihanna was doing to cause him to hit her in the first place.”

Chris, who arrived to court for his arraignment and plead “Not Guilty” could face up to four years in jail if convicted.

One fan stated, “I hope he doesn’t go to jail for a long time, I like his music, so four years is a long time for me to not hear from him, or see him in concert. He’s a very good performer and a good person so I just hope for the best.”

CHRIS BROWN CHARGED OVER 'RIHANNA ASSAULT'

The extent of the alleged violence against Chris Brown was revealed today as the R 'n' B star faced charges in court.

Brown, wearing a sombre grey suit, was charged with assault likely to cause great bodily injury and making criminal threats at a court in Los Angeles.

It had not previously been confirmed the victim of the alleged assault was Rihanna. But court documents showed the woman in question was Robyn F – otherwise known as Umbrella Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenton.

He did not enter a plea and only spoke to confirm his name at the hearing, which saw documents leaked to FoxNews.com revealing some of the details of the alleged assault.

The detective's affidavit states that, after Rihanna read out a text from another woman, Brown punched and bit her and deliberately banged her head against the car window.

Brown and Rihanna both pulled out of scheduled performances at the Grammy awards on the night of Brown's arrest, which occurred after he and the woman in question argued in a parked car in Hancock Park, Los Angeles.

Despite the incident the couple are now reported to be back together. They were seen reunited as a couple at a party hosted by Sean 'P Diddy' Coombs.

RIHANNA WILL TESTIFY IN BROWN ASSAULT CASE

RIHANNA's lawyer has confirmed the singer will testify against her boyfriend CHRIS BROWN if she's subpoenaed to appear in court as he fights two felony charges of assaulting her.
The troubled R&B singer is free on $50,000 (GBP35,700) bail after he was granted a continuance at his arraignment hearing on Thursday (05Mar09) - and he's due back in court in a month (06Apr09).
At that point, his girlfriend, who he allegedly beat up in a late-night row a month ago (08Feb09), could be called to testify against him by prosecutors keen to punish the Kiss Kiss singer to the full extent of the law.
Rihanna did not appear in court for the arraignment hearing, but reports suggest she has reconciled with the singer and was in Los Angeles with him.
And she could be in court for the hearing on 6 April (09).
Her lawyer, Donald Etra, has told MTV News, "She is planning to do everything that the law requires her to do. If she is required to testify, she will do so."
In court on Thursday, Etra was overheard telling Brown, "I think Rihanna would like this over as quickly as possible."
And the lawyer tells Us Weekly magazine, "Rhianna desires that it (the case) be quick and expeditious. She wants to get back to her life and her career."
Meanwhile, the judge overseeing the case has given Rihanna permission to tape conversations with her boyfriend.

BROWN AND RIHANNA'S AIDES PLAY DOWN BOOK DEAL REPORTS

RIHANNA's lawyer and CHRIS BROWN's publicist are playing down reports the R&B couple is planning a book deal together in a bid to rehab the disgraced Kiss Kiss singer's image.
On Thursday (05Mar09), Chicago Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker claimed Brown's management team was working on a deal with Rihanna's handlers, which would include a joint book project, a series of TV interviews together and a whopping $10 million (GBP7.1 million) hand-out to the Umbrella singer if Brown ever made a repeat performance of his alleged 8 February (09) beat down, which left the pretty pop star in hospital.
A source told Zwecker, Brown would pay "as much as $10 million... if he as much as squeezes her arm the wrong way."
But Brown's publicist, Michael Sitrick, insists much of the columnist’s report features inaccuracies, including the book deal details and the $10 million contractual agreement.
And Rihanna's lawyer Donald Etra insists he knows nothing about the claims the columnist has made.
But Zwecker is standing by his story and his sources, telling U.S. news show Access Hollywood, "Project Mea Culpa is the name that is apparently being used by his (Brown) group (for this).
"(The deal) is obviously a kind of commitment from him to her (Rihanna) that he was serious about the fact that this will never happen again."
After a brief split following the pair's violent bust-up in Los Angeles, Brown and Rihanna are reportedly back together.
Brown was charged with two assault felonies on Thursday (05Mar09), related to his alleged attack on Rihanna, and will appear in court on 6 April (09) for a hearing.
If convicted, he faces almost five years behind bars.

Rihanna is prepared to testify against her boyfriend Chris Brown over charges he assaulted her.

The singer's attorney said Rihanna - real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty - would be required to give evidence if issued with a subpoena.

Brown, 19, has been charged with assault and making criminal threats against a woman referred to in court as Robyn F.

Rihanna, 21, has not publicly commented on the case or a photo of her reported injuries.

In court, documents revealed that Brown is accused of attacking Rihanna after an argument broke out over a text from another woman.

He apparently tried to force her out of their rented Lamborghini, hitting her head against the passenger window and punching her in the face.

LOS ANGELES—Chris Brown briefly appeared in court, hours after he was charged with two felonies stemming from what a police detective describes as a brutal argument between the singer and his girlfriend, Rihanna.

Brown's arraignment was postponed until April 6 on charges of assault likely to cause great bodily injury and making criminal threats. The 19-year-old R&B singer remains free on $50,000 bail.

A court commissioner ordered him not to harass, threaten or harm anyone. At the request of Donald Etra, an attorney representing Rihanna, the commissioner did not order Brown to stay away from her.

Brown, wearing a three-piece gray pinstripe suit with gray tie and cream shirt, clasped his hands behind his back as he walked into the courtroom Thursday. He answered a few questions from the commissioner as his mother watched from the front row along with a group of family members.

Details released Thursday offer a starkly different portrait of Brown than the squeaky-clean image he has cultivated. The young man once praised for his Michael Jackson-esque dance moves is described in a detective's affidavit as punching his girlfriend, biting her ear and trying to choke her until she nearly lost consciousness.

He rose to fame after the 2005 hit "Run It!" and his popularity has only grown. He was nominated for a Grammy for "No Air" with Jordin Sparks and named Billboard's top artist in 2008.

His arrest prompted an exodus of sponsors and a retreat into secrecy for both Brown and Rihanna. The couple were among the marquee names scheduled to appear and perform at the Grammys Feb. 8, but the alleged attack forced both to cancel their appearances.

The courtroom was filled Thursday with onlookers and media for Brown's brief appearance. He and his attorney did not speak to reporters after the hearing.

The felony complaint handed down in court Thursday morning identifies Brown's alleged victim only as "Robyn F." (Rihanna's real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty.) The "Disturbia" singer's attorney, Etra, also identified her as Brown's alleged victim.

Etra declined to say whether Rihanna would testify against Brown, or whether the couple had reunited. "I'm not here to discuss the relationship," he said.

If convicted, Brown's possible sentence ranges anywhere from probation to four years and eight months in state prison, said district attorney's spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons.

According to a detective's affidavit, Brown and Rihanna got into a fight early Feb. 8 after she checked her boyfriend's cell phone and found a text message from another woman.

Brown pulled his car over and tried to push Rihanna out, but she was still wearing her seatbelt, Los Angeles police Detective De Shon Andrews wrote. Brown pushed Rihanna's head against the window, punched her with his right hand, and then continued driving while hitting her, the affidavit states. He also bit his girlfriend on the ear, the affidavit states.

The affidavit was filed as part of a search warrant request for the phone records of Brown, Rihanna and her assistant.

Brown allegedly threatened to kill Rihanna after she pretended to leave a phone message with her assistant, telling her to have the police waiting at her house.

Andrews described Brown's blows as causing Rihanna's mouth to fill with blood. He also writes that Brown tried to choke Rihanna after she took the keys to his car away. Andrews wrote that Rihanna nearly lost consciousness but also tried to fight back while in the car, at one point trying to gouge at Brown's eyes.

Brown was arrested hours later and booked him on suspicion of making criminal threats. Her identity has been an open secret since the alleged attack; police have never publicly released her name, but numerous news outlets have reported her identity based on anonymous sources.

A Barbados-born pop singer, Rihanna recorded one of 2007's most popular songs with "Umbrella" and has numerous other hits. Her stunning looks have made her a cover girl for magazines, as well as a pitchwoman for Cover Girl cosmetics.

According to Andrews' affidavit, Brown and Rihanna started dating about a year and half ago. The couple have never officially confirmed their romance, but have been frequently spotted together, cuddling or holding hands.

Brown issued a statement a week after the incident saying that he was "sorry and saddened" about the incident. Rihanna also later issued a statement, saying she wouldn't comment on the alleged beating at the request of authorities. She thanked fans for their support.

Etra said he was present in court to protect Rihanna's rights in the criminal case. He stood alongside Brown's attorney during the hearing.

He said after the hearing Rihanna appreciates the "overwhelming support" the singer has received from fans worldwide.

He brushed aside questions seeking details about the fight, telling reporters, "The facts of the case will come out over time."

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Rihanna's attorney says the singer would testify against Chris Brown if called as a witness in her boyfriend's assault case. Donald Etra, who is representing the 21-year-old Barbados native, said Friday that Rihanna would be required by law to testify if prosecutors subpoena her.

Etra said Rihanna did not want a "no contact" order issued against Brown, but that she will report any violations of an order prohibiting the 19-year-old singer from threatening, harassing or harming his girlfriend. A court order grants her the authority to record any violations of the order.

The order is not uncommon in cases where a victim says he or she doesn't want to completely cut off communication with a person, said Steve Cron, a Santa Monica criminal defense attorney who has represented celebrities such as Paula Poundstone and Scott Weiland.

LOS ANGELES - A PHOTO that purportedly shows singer Rihanna's face with bruises, scratches and swelling from an attack allegedly at the hands of boyfriend-singer Chris Brown was posted on Thursday night by the celebrity website TMZ.

The image shows welts on the woman's forehead above each of her eyebrows, marks on her cheek and around her lips and general swelling. TMZ did not say how it obtained the photo, when it was taken or by whom.

Asked whether it could confirm the photo's origin, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jason Lee said only that the agency hasn't released any images of the woman who accused Brown, and will not release evidence photos. A spokesman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney said all evidence related to the case against Brown is still with police.

Brown was arrested Feb 8 and booked on suspicion of making felony criminal threats to a woman that authorities have not publicly identified. A person familiar with the situation, who was not authorised to speak publicly on the matter and requested anonymity, confirmed that the woman was Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Fenty.

The person said some of the injuries shown in the photo - specifically the marks on the woman's forehead - were consistent with the injuries Rihanna sustained.

Prosecutors have asked police to provide more information before deciding whether to press charges against Brown. Police have said the 19-year-old singer could face domestic violence charges if prosecutors think they are appropriate.

The woman in the photo posted by TMZ has a tattoo of Roman numerals on her left shoulder; Rihanna was photographed by The Associated Press the night of the incident with a tattoo of the same numerals on the same shoulder.

TMZ had previously used its site to debunk a manipulated image that depicted Rihanna with a black eye.

No public statement has been issued on behalf of Rihanna, who turns 21 on Friday. Email and telephone messages left late Thursday with representatives for both Brown and Rihanna were not immediately returned.

Brown released a statement on Sunday, which read in part, 'Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired.' The statement, which did not mention Rihanna, said that Brown was consulting with loved ones, his mother and pastor.

Brown's arrest came roughly 18 hours after he and Rihanna left a pre-Grammy party honoring music mogul Clive Davis. According to police, Brown and a woman were involved in an altercation in a car travelling through the upscale Hancock Park neighbourhood shortly after midnight. Police have said the woman had visible injuries, and that Brown was gone from the scene when they arrived. -- AP
